.. Kuantan to Georgetown ..

After several wonderful days of cruising through Malaysia we were heading for our first day off in Georgetown on the island of Penang. From Kota Bharu we started climbing over a range of hills only too discover we no longer had any brakes. Wow what a scare, thinking we had toasted the shoes we cruised into Georgetown very carefully, we will fix it tomorrow. After a long evening of partying with all at ze bar, I thought I would get an early start and change all the brake shoes. Much to my surprise brake shoes weren't the problem, seems the fat old girl has developed a slight case of fat ankles, but only on the left side. All the bearings in the right rear were completely broken, oil leaked out all over the brakes , thus no brakes and very lucky the whole rear end didn't blow up due to no oil. Well take it all apart and put it all back together two or three time till I got it right and most of the day off was gone. There were a number of us working on our cars in the parking garage laughing and clowning around drinking a few beers and bs ing
